Our Sleep Laboratory has an outstanding opportunity available for a full-time Sleep Lab Program Coordinator , to coordinate administrative services of the Lab. As part of this responsibility, the Program Coordinator provides a liaison between the Sleep Lab and the Sleep Medicine Clinic. The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the Sleep Program and regularly participates in staff meetings, process improvement projects, and efforts to improve Patient First initiatives.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Maintain invoices and inventory and order supplies for the lab, patient pantry and offices.
Place work orders for ancillary support services,building issues and Janitorial Services.
Prepare supplies for patients.
Perform reminder calls and receive patients for check in.
Schedule new appointments and transfer of studies.
Perform expanded screening of patients identified with special needs, coordinating staff for overnight assistance in the Sleep Lab with Float pool manager.
Review of charts for the weekend; provide triage-census to the manager.
Perform Data Management, prior authorizations, sending and receiving of studies to Sleep Strategies, and delivering chart to providers.
Manage patient chart preparation, daily census, scheduling, and staffing levels for appropriate Technologist to patient ratio.
Maintain staff schedules, and manage technologist-staff on-call calendar.
Perform payroll and timekeeping weekly, and tracking of per diem hours.
Record meeting minutes and upload to Sleep server after meeting.
Arrange new employee access to systems.
Maintain employee files.
Reserving meeting rooms for staff meetings

Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Departmental Requirements:
CPR certified
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
Expert level in Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired:
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent and two years experience providing administrative services in a medical office practice or clinic setting.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Medical or science background preferred
Patient care experience preferred
