Location: Seattle Washington

Develop, facilitate , and conduct safety training in conjunction with company safety policies and procedures providing feedback, and assessments. The Division Safety Trainer is res! ponsible for ensuring that all training content is consistent across the division and is compliant with all state and federal regulations. Utilize the integration of technology, strategically developing a training program.

Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities

Conduct and develop training for all employees.

Deliver, t rack and re port on all training activities.

Evaluate and utilize most cost effective method for training delivery including on-site meetings, conference calls, webinars and web enabled intranet modules.

Use training to support and reinforce thegoals and objectives of the EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Central Services Team’s strategic p lan.

Develop trainings in alignment with all company policies and procedures .

Revise and/or update trainings based on all applicable state and federal regulations .

Provide information resources for employees on training and ensure! the content presented is a standardized format.

Repo! rt as required to EHS Team on new initiatives, programs or training projects .

Develop an annual budget for all activities and meet budget parameters.

Develop, Chair and conduct annual Training Team planning meeting.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
Required Skills

Required Competencie s :
Excellent communication skills including group presentations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Able to work without close supervision, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions and keeps commitments.

Ability to work with and within a diverse team.

Able to complete high-quality deliverables on target and on time .

Ability to serve as a resource to the entire division .

Exhibits professionalism, treats others with respect and consideration.

Possess high level of integrity and self-motivation .

! Ability to manage internet based media technology, i.e., LMS (Learning Management System), brain shark .

Experience in developing safety training from “scratch” .

Skills and Experience Required :
Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education and work experience .

Minimum of 10 years training experience .

Knowledge and experience with Federal Regulations .

Hazwopher certified trainer, or obtain within 6 months of hire date .

OSHA trainer certification .

Travel required .
