Account Manager - Employee Benefits

Location: Bothell Washington

Description: Hub International Limited is at present looking to employ Account Manager - Employee Benefits right now, this vacancy will be placed in Washington. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Provide proactive and effective customer service to assigned clients, clients of Account Executives and clients of Account Executive/Producers throughout the year

Field email and phone calls from clients and carriers and answer any questions regarding benefit plans, and help resolve issues with carriers and claims;

Compile information from clients necessary to complete annual renewal pro! cess;

Solicit quotes from carriers and create spreads! heets to analyze information to current and renewal rates to determine most competitive plan, create proposals for clients representing best options for client and as is necessary meet with clients to review renewal information and assist clients in selecting benefit plans;

Process renewal/enrollment paperwork by checking for accuracy and forward to carrier;

Maintain and create employee benefits websites as needed and maintain database files and paper client files

General office duties, including creation of marketing materials for department;

Back-up Account Executives and Producers on an as needed basis;

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong computer skills including, MS Word, Excel and Access;

Ability to read documents detailed documents including contracts, proposals, and procedure manuals;

Ability to write grammatically correct business correspondence such as letters, e-mails, memoranda;

Strong editing skills to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation in correspondence;

Strong verbal communication skills to articulately relay necessary information to co-workers and clients;

Skill in maintaining existing filing system and database;

Word processing skills to prepare proposals and all other necessary correspondence, including formatting skills;

Ability to exercise judgment in order to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent;

Ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities; and
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships w! ith supervisors and staff members, and all clients and carrier.

Required Experience

Four-year college degree preferred;

Experience working with Employee Benefit plans (50+ lives);
