Automotive Fixed Operations Director needed for growing domestic dealership just outside of Augusta, Georgia. The Parts and Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the parts department and service department, ensuring efficient and profitable operations while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive parts and service processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This is an underperforming department with tremendous upside for a motivated Parts and Service Manager who sees the big picture and actively strives to develop and build their department. This department has the facility size and potential to be a high-volume operation with the right leadership. This is not a total rebuild or clean up job as the department is not broken but rather is lacking the right leadership to really get the department to the next level. The Parts and Service Manager hired not be micromanaged but will be supported by upper management to achieve their goals. The dealership has a great General Manager in place, and the variable side of the business is continuously growing, which is why the dealer is looking for the last piece of the puzzle - a strong Parts and Service Director who can take the reigns of the fixed side of the business and implement the proper policies and procedures for further growth. The dealer will also be expanding the size of the service department so the sky is the limit for a motivated Fixed Ops Director who wants to build and grow! Experience on Dealertrack a plus, but not mandatory for the role. It is important that this person is a positive leader who uplifts their people and promotes a positive work environment that is also results oriented. Likewise, it is important that the person hired is a great trainer, motivator, and someone who leads by example every day. Must have strong CSI and a solid understanding of the parts department. This is a hands-on position and the Fixed Ops Director hired will also be the acting Service Manager at the store. This is a great opportunity for a proven Fixed Ops Director who wants to build a great team and have a long-term home for themselves with a stable dealer group. This is with a growing dealer group with a positive reputation and many long-term employees.
