Title: DLA Inventory Analyst - *****(Remote) - Travel up to 90%*****
Salary range is $60,000 to $75,000
SUMMARY: This position will conduct start-to-finish equipment and material inventories for the DAWSON Real Property (RP) team supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Installation Management. This position will also prepare procedural and training documentation, conduct on-site and virtual training, perform database system testing, and provide general system support. The inventory process begins in the planning phase with the team exporting initial data from EBS (DLA Real Property Equipment and Material information is housed in the DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), an SAP-based product) and conducting an initial data review and analysis. The team will then coordinate with DLA personnel and site points of contact to plan and forecast the survey length and travel requirements. On-site work consists of reviewing available existing equipment/material lists, comparing existing lists to equipment/material on-site and updating the lists accordingly, identifying and electronically capturing new equipment/material, labelling all inventoried equipment/material, and training site personnel. Throughout the inventory process, the inventory analyst will peform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of data collected. Post-inventory tasks include data clean-up and analysis, preparation of load sheets, preparation of training material, and preparation of trip-reports and lessons learned. This is a remote opportunity with up to 90% travel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct equipment and material inventories on various DLA sites.
- Utilize EBS to pull facility and equipment reports and analyze data.
- Work closely with DLA counterparts and inventory team to plan prospective inventory trips.
- Travel to DLA sites and identify and work with on-site personnel and the inventory team to capture and label real property facility installed equipment and material items.
- Perform regular QA/QC checks on collected field data using MS Excel.
- Assist with preparing data load sheets in MS Excel.
- Prepare trip reports and lessons learned documentation.
- Train site personnel on the inventory process, Plaint Maintenance and Material Management concepts, and the use of the EBS system.
- Assist with preparation, review, and editing of Job Aids, SOPs, PowerPoint slides, and other relevant training material and documentation.
- Enter, analyze, coordinate, resolve, and escalate EBS Help Desk tickets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with capturing, organizing, reviewing, analyzing, and cleaning up large sets of data in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly identify various types of real property installed equipment.
- Four (4) year degree in from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience, plus 4 years of directly related experience.
- Ability to travel for potentially long periods of time.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project schedules.
- Ability to take overall direction and work independently.
- Self-motivated and quality focused.
- Experience with SAP a plus.
- Experience performing equipment inventories for the Department of Defense (DoD) or federal agencies, particularly the Defense Logistics Agency a plus.
- Demonstrated experience conducting training a plus.
- US. Citizenship.
- Clearable (although a clearance is not necessary).
