ITS Technologies & Logistics, a national provider of intermodal services including trailer repair, is seeking a Trailer Mechanic/Tire Repair for its intermodal facilities located in Tacoma, WA.
If you are a qualified and self motivated individual, our ITS’s Trailer Repair position will be a great fit for you. Job duties for this outdoors position includes troubleshooting and performing brake repair, performing routine maintenance and inspections, rerun hoses and airlines, spring suspension, replacing chambers and valves, repair of lighting system, welding, cutting, removing, and replacing sheet metal. This position also is required to maintain computerized trailer repair records.
To be successful in the role, candidates should posses 3-5 years experience as a Trailer Mechanic with working knowledge in the following areas: DOT/FHWA inspection, chassis & trailer repair, welding (MIG) and electrical wiring. This position also requires good verbal communication and attention to detail.
