POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manager of Im! aging Services for the Gig Harbor Clinic and Tacoma's Allenmore Bldg C clinic, is responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of the assigned Medical Imaging to include the provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and Medical Imaging practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between Medical Imaging, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. This position requires organization and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs. This position is accountable for the delivery of efficient, high quality services to the patient, physician and all customers, both internal and external, to the Imaging Department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree a! nd three years of experience in specialty field required. An A! ssociate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree required, provided the individual commits to pursuing and completing the degree within a specified time frame.
Master’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years progressively more responsible supervisory or management experience
- Satisfactory completion of formal imaging technology training in an AMA approved school
- Meets the requirements of registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and current Washington State Certification
- Three years Technologist experience
