Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University as the Operations Manager within the Business Office, this position mana! ges the support functions for the college including payroll, purchasing, travel, service center operations, course fee oversight, and assists with personnel administration for the college. This position leads the summer session fiscal review and reconciliation for the college. The individual is required to use independent judgment to analyze problems and implement solutions.

Position Details: Position Details Continued: Minimum/Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement for a year-for-year basis. Minimum/Required Qualifications continued: Experience overseeing and performing general operational functions such as payroll, purchasing, travel,accounts payable & receivable, inven! tory control, position control and budget reconciliation. Expe! rience working with federal and state regulations pertaining to fiscal and administrative management.

Demonstrated effective leadership and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and manage multiple projects to effectively meet multiple deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with an online payroll and travel systems. Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Human Resource Services regulations.

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse clientele. Experience working in an academic environment. Experience with service centers, establishing course fees and working with contracts. Experience creating financial reports for an external audit.
