Database Developer - Big Data - SCE-Database-Seattle

What you need for this position:

• 5+ years of database development experience including data models and database design
• Database Development skills in one of the following: MySQL, SQL, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
• 1+ years of experience working on large scale databases handling big data (Cassandra (preferred), MongoDB, Hadoop, NoSQL, etc.)
• Basic level of understanding of Java
• Must have experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Solid skills working on highly scalable systems
• Ability and desire to work on a small team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and independent projects

What you'll be doing:

• Developing large scale databases handling big data
• Designing and developing data model and database architecture
• Working on! a small agile development team
