Position Title: Technician Trainee

This entry level position is responsible for helping support basic installations and/or service for alarm systems in designated locations.

Install assigned company authorized equipment in customer homes/businesses according to established standards/procedures - batteries !

Test back-up batteries, keypad, and designated system! features to ensure proper operation

Safely operate/maintain the assigned Company vehicle according to the manufacturer's specifications

Explain system functions and features

Maintain established minimum performance standards after initial training period

Complete necessary paperwork, such as work/service orders and time logs

Maintain inventory/control of assigned Company property, ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition and participate in weekly formal inventory

Exhibit professional appearance, conduct in accordance with Company standards, including but not limited to wearing Company provided uniform

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience preferred in home security customer service, cable TV, telephone service, or home improvement industries.

Minimum of 3-6 months prior work experience in an! y industry.
