MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate meets a combination of education and experience attributes.
E! ducation: Associate Degree in engineering/science or equiv! alent education or specific training in area of expertise.
Experience: 14+ years experience in the area of expertise and/or a combination of startup/ operations/maintenance of nuclear or high hazard waste treatment and/or commercial nuclear facilities, demonstrated knowledge of DOE operating policies, rules and regulations, or knowledge of commercial nuclear facilities (e.g. NRC/INPO) regulations and requirements, and knowledge of industry codes and standards in the area of expertise. Operation of remote and control room mechanical systems including cranes and hoists, process jumpers, remote waste handling, master-slave-manipulator (MSM)s, power manipulators and mechanical handling systems; working knowledge of mechanical handling and fluid system design and operational features including jumpers, connectors, control systems, instrumentations, lifting hardware, pumps, etc. and inspection requirements.
