Role

Cricket Wireless is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our Cricket Retail and Billing Experience Portfolio team focusing on Point-of-Sale and/or Billing platforms. This person has primary responsibility of facilitating the formation, learning and growth of cross-functional delivery teams in developing an Agile/Scrum mindset, adopting, and continuously improving practices in their context, and guiding teams and leaders to enable the effective flow of delivery across the end-to-end value stream. As a servant-leader, the Senior Scrum Master plays a key role in planning, facilitation, supporting teams, removing impediments, providing team coaching and mentorship, visualizing the value stream to optimize for flow, and working with other Agile/Lean practitioners to exchange learnings at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Establish Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide
  • Improve Scrum Team effectiveness via implementation of best practices, within the Scrum framework
  • Scrum Team Support
    • Able to put ego to the side and the “desire to control” the team by teaching and mentoring the team members in self-organizing behavior.
    • Help the Scrum Team to focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
    • Facilitate the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress
    • Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
  • Product Owner Support
    • Recommend techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
    • Promote the Scrum Team’s understanding of the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
    • Help establish empirical product planning for a complex environment
    • Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
  • Organization Support
    • Lead, train, and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption
    • Plan and advise Scrum implementations within the organization
    • Help employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
    • Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years preferred in Telecom
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of service to a team in the role of a scrum master
  • Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
  • Certification in scrum at a minimum PSM1

Work Location: Atlanta, GA (office)


Our Senior-Scrum Master´s earn between $116,700- $175,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
