Available Position: Part-Time Food Service Worker - #03135Available Shift: Variable Salary: DOE Location: Central Food Service - Seattle, WA MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND C! HANGE LIVES!Central Food Service (CFS) is located in the Starbuck Center in the SODO district (of Seattle, WA). Monthly CFS prepares and delivers 26,000 meals to Pioneer programs: Helen B Radcliff House, Madison Inn, Bishop Lewis House, Pioneer Fellowship House, Pioneer Center North, CORP in Kent, and the YK Program on 14th & Yesler. GENERAL SUMMARYThe primary responsibilities of this position are to ensure that customer orders are being filled accurately, in a timely manner and are of a high quality. Duties: Slicing meat, cheese and vegetables Preparing salads, sandwiches and o! ther food items Producing special diet trays Labeling and dati! ng products Wrapping foods for storage and delivery Washing dishes Comply with all health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and handling. Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen and work environment, including floors, walls refrigerators, freezers, ovens, storage areas and other equipment Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels of products and supplies and proper stock rotation Dispose of garbage, compost and recycling in their proper containers Putting away supply orders Various other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid King County Food Handler's Permit. Must be able to clearly follow directions Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
