Seattle Washington - Temporary position
Fr! anz Family Bakeries, Seattle is seeking an experienced HR Assistant/Recruiter. This is a temporary position and is expected to last through December 31 st , 2013.
Franz Family Bakeries is a fourth generation, family- owned, baking company, headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Collectively, we produce a variety of different bakery products including breads, rolls, bagels, donuts, cookies and pastries that are marketed under a wide range of premium labels. We have bakeries throughout the Northwest and Alaska and deliver fresh baked goods daily to our customers.
Salary : $21.00/hour
Position Summary :
Coordinates and assists in recruitment and administrative activities for 2 very busy bakeries and several outlet stores.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Source candidates for openings using various recruitment/internet boards.
- Track candidate information in applicant tracking system.
- Schedule candidate! interviews.
- Prepare interview packets.
- Cond! uct reference checks and process background checks and drug testing.
- Assist in writing offer letters.
- Process new-hire, promotions and transfers paperwork.
- Maintain new hire/promotion tracking reports.
- Coordinate PC, phones, and other supplies for new hires.
- Assist in new-hire orientation and onboarding.
- Maintains personnel files.
- Special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED. Associate’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years Human Resource experience in an administrative/high-volume recruiting capacity.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and strong prioritizing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
- Computer proficiency in: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Kronos is a plus.
