Overview The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to teams that are responsible for all areas of customer care, including: call center operations, pre-sales i! nquiries, quoting/order entry, order fulfillment and post sales support. This position will enable Genie to maintain an outstanding customer experience and rich employee environment through coaching/mentoring, process improvement and a primary focus on quality. Additional priorities include: developing team members; working directly with customers and field sales team members; scheduling; training; issue resolution; interviewing and hiring; process documentation, providing business insight and improvement opportunities. Qualifications ¨ Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to relate well to a wide variety of people in a professional manner and handle stressful situations in positive, tactful manner.
¨ Demonstrated leadership ability - with great attitude, high energy, and professional demeanor.
¨ Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite. Excel, Outlook and Word proficiency required. AS400 and Oracle experience a plus.
! ¨ Detail-oriented with great organizational and problem solvi! ng skills.
¨ Understanding of “Lean†concepts and strong orientation toward quality, process improvement, and change management.
¨ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment with frequent interruptions and short timelines.
¨ Knowledge of Genie products and the aerial industry preferred.
¨ Bachelors degree in business, industrial engineering, communications or related field preferred.
¨ Five years customer/tech service, sales and/or supervisory experience preferred.
¨ Occasional travel may be required.
¨ Foreign language a plus.
