Skills Inc. is looking for an experienced and technically skilled H.264 Verification Engineer with our ! customer located in Redmond, WA. This is a vendor position. We're looking for individuals with at least 5 years of experience working in H.264 compliance standards. Knowledge in video formats such as MJPG, YUY2 is a necessity. Proficiency in one or more of C/C++/C programming languages is required. A background in with a strong image processing would be a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Bitstreams match encoder settings ( layers, coding, rate control, reference frames etc.)Quality measures (e.g. PSNR)Compliance with Lync/Skype specificationsImage processing background preferredQuality assessmentUnderstanding of different formats MJPG, YUY2Standard tools MFCaptureEngineAmCapExperience in Visual studio -C/C++/C - Proficient with 1 or more of these languages to extend existing tools and develop new tools based on Media Foundation transform and topology development experience preferredKnowledge of SQL, USB Video Class and Matlab experience is a plusExperi! ence creating accurate and complete test reportsFamiliar with ! standard bug reporting: clear title, accurate repro, assessment of end user impact (product studio preferred)*Ability to work with development team and partners when needed to root cause bugs EducationB.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
