A respected, mid-size, award-winning General Contractor / Construction Management Specialist in Seattle is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to oversee direction on large commercial projects. They specialize in mixed-use, commercial, multifamily, multi-unit, senior housing, assisted living, office, retail, civic, community and TIs. This General Contractor has asked our firm to help them identify and recruit Assistant Project Managers for their construction team in Seattle.
To be suitable for this opportunity as a Project Manager in the construction sector, you will need to have the following experience:
- 3+ years experience in the Construction industry in related construction sectors.
- Degree educated a preference in a construction field.
- Been responsible as Assistant Project Manager on $5M+ construction projects from concept to completion, ideally in Seattle or across Washington state / other locations on the West Coast.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with Superintendents, Estimators, Sub-Contractors, Owners/ Developers, Architects and other professionals in the project life-cycle.
