Our growing team is seeking an organized, proactive, and outgoing candidate to fill the role of Temp-To Hire Sander. We are about pushing the limits of manufacturing technology to create something new and innovative. Our work environment consists of designers, engineers, architects and marketing staff collaborating to create new products and projects to the world. We also have a large manufacturing facility adjacent to our offices with multiple CNC machines, robotics, sheet metal equipment, composites technologies and a metal fabrication department. We are conducting business in over 23 countries and all over the US and continue to develop and bring ground breaking technological designs to our clients every day. We have been widely published in both domestic and international media and have pieces in permanent collections in museums around the world.
Fabricator Job Description
- Interfacing between Design Project Teams and Fabrication Project Teams.
- QC and compliance checking of fabricated assemblies to drawings.
- Interfacing with shop drawing and BOM's.
- Interfacing with an ERP system.
- Set-up program and operate CNC controlled machinery.
- Drill, Tap, Lift, Grind, Weld and perform other general fabrication duties with high level of skill and care.
- Direct the work of assembly staff in a team atmosphere.
- Receive production schedule, evaluate and set up equipment.
- Read drawings and assembly instructions while effectively communicating to other staff.
- Utilize computer programs: Outlook, Excel, as well as ERP system experience.
- Maintain and use basic hand tools, power tools and measurement devices: tape measures; calipers; micrometers, etc.
- Use power and mechanical tools to construct sub-assemblies, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts.
- Place and remove sheets of steel, acoustic material or aluminum from bed.
Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing production experience.
- 1 year experience with power tools, stand and lift machine.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

The estimated base salary range for this role is $16-$19 per hour. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors
