Our Parking Services and Commuter Services Department has an outstanding opportunity available for a full-time PROGRAM ASSISTANT. This Harborview office issues parking permits and alternative commute products to the Medical Center staff, patients, family and visitors. Under general supervision of the Supervisor of Parking and Commuter Services, the person in this role will: Serve as the primary contact in Parking and Commuter Services assisting both internal and external customers. Receive and process requests and enter data, received via phone, e-mail, fax or in person, for parking permits, UPASS,badging, and keys.
Review applications for accuracy and completion, signatures and conformity with campus regulations and departmental policy. Responsible for parking permit, issuance of UPASSES, badges and keys issuance, control and distribution. Provide staff, patients, family and visitors with information regarding Parking and Commuter Services programs and options. Collect fees for parking permits, UPASSES and badges.
Balance cash drawer daily, count fees received, and ensure received checks are endorsed. Complete processing of permits and UPASSES sold and fees collected. Conduct contractor orientation and conduct criminal background checks. Enter and maintain the envelope due lists and produce letters for unpaid fees.

Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience. Desired: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES â¢Excellent verbal and written communication skills. â¢Strong interpersonal skills. â¢Computer experience, including word processing, spread sheets and database systems.
