As an office assistant, you will work within a team to assist in data collection and entry activities re! lated to high school sports scores and election night vote tabulation. Shifts will be scheduled primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings during sport seasons.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Answering incoming phone calls reporting game results of high school games or election
Accurately and quickly transcribing reported score or election results to Data Center collection mechanisms
Make outgoing calls to schools, coaches, member newspapers, and other media organizations to collect missing scores
Searching internet sites for scores, schedule related information and election results
Make calls to schools and other athletic related organizations to collect team schedules and tournament pairing information
Make outgoing phone calls to election stringers to ensure timely capture of election night information
Input collected schedule information into Data Center sports database
Updating Data Center sports dat! abase with school and coach contact information
Assis! t in preparation of informational mailings to election stringers
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to navigate Internet
Basic understanding and ability to use Excel spreadsheet software
Ability to quickly and accurately enter large volumes of data into the computer
Self-directed and able to work effectively with others in a fast paces, production environment
Basic knowledge of high school sports and the elections process
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is mandatory
