The Enterprise Environmental Sustainability Team at The Walt Disney Company stewards the Company’s progress towards its ambitious 2030 Environmental Goals focused on emissions, water, waste, materials, and sustainable design. The team actively partners with key corporate functions and business segments to set sustainability goals, influences implementation of sustainability goals, and leads external reporting of progress against goals. As aggregators of Enterprise-wide environmental performance data and initiative inventories, the team has a big-picture oversight role for all company efforts driving progress towards the goals.
Beyond stewarding the goals specifically, the team strives to influence a culture of environmental responsibility across the company. Finally, the team helps manage the Company’s reputation by engaging external stakeholders including but not limited to employees, environmental network groups, environmental non-profits, investors, media and others.

Assist with collection of large data sets from a variety of internal and external sources, organize data, clean and transform data into needed formats for further analysis (emissions, water, waste). Prepare and maintain templates as needed for data collection and calculations.Perform calculations of environmental sustainability metrics including, for example, emissions, water, waste, sustainable design, materials, following guidance provided by senior staff.
Conduct QA/QC of input data and calculations, troubleshoot inconsistencies in data or calculations; Assist in completion of internal validation and 3rd party verification of data and calculations. Assist in design of processes and systems for data collection, custom reporting, dashboard updates.
Assist with presentations, create informative visual depiction of input data and output calculations. Develop and maintain credibility with a large network of internal partners, conduct regular follow-ups during data collection, validation, verification processes, and support database system development projects. Participate in frequent meetings, communicate status of data collection and calculation activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in environmental science, engineering
0-2 years experience in energy or environmental industry with focus on analytical projects
Software: Excel, Programming scripts, Tableau, Power BI
