CAMP SKYHOOK
Camp Skyhook is a 5th-grade overnight science camp in the San Gabriel Mts. that operates year-round. It is located 30 minutes from Pasadena and Glendale.
Two Shifts Available Weekly (Mon-Wed OR Wed-Fri)
- 10am Mon to 10am Wed
- 12pm Wed to 12pm Fri
Duties include:
- Co-cabin leader for groups of 10-20 5th-grade boys
- Sleep in student cabin Mon/Tue nights OR Wed/Thu nights weekly
- Model appropriate behavior and promote a positive team atmosphere
- Lead group-building and mindfulness activities, crafts, songs, skits and games
- Assist with hike and meal time supervision.

Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years old
- High school graduate
- Background clearance
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and proven leadership skills
- MUST enjoy working with children and have a sincere desire to provide positive guidance to urban youth in a mountain environment.
