Oakwell Beer Spa is seeking a Housekeeper / Cleaning Attendant (aka ‘Spakeeper’) with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality to join our new day spa in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood.
As a Housekeeper / Cleaning Attendant, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting our spa suites in between appointments to the highest of industry standards. You will also be responsible for keeping the common spaces clean and tidy at all times, including the restrooms, hallways, and vanity area.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting spa suites in between appointments, including: Emptying trash; Changing linens (bath towels, sauna towels, robes); Replacing water cups & water pitcher; Cleaning and disinfecting hot tubs; Cleaning and disinfecting showers; Cleaning and disinfecting saunas; Disinfecting high-touch surfaces; Vacuuming floor
- Restocking housekeeping cart & supplies
- Washing & folding laundry
- Washing & restocking glassware
- Cleaning and wiping down windows, doors, appliances, and fixtures
- Replacing paper towels and refilling hand soap
- Vacuuming carpet in common areas
- Cleaning hard floors in the common spaces
- Inspecting appliances and equipment and reporting damage to management
Housekeeper Qualifications:
- 2+ years in housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Upbeat, enthusiastic, and personable demeanor
- Possesses a strong work ethic, respect for timeliness, and professionalism
- Well-rounded knowledge of general cleaning principals
- Experience using cleaning products, as well as experience using basic cleaning equipment
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- Must be available to work 40 hours (5 shifts) per week
- Must be comfortable working, open (7:30am-3:30pm), swing (11:30am-7:30pm) and evening (3:20pm-11:30pm) shifts
- We do not have any requirements for formal education or training – we are just looking for someone with a positive attitude and the aptitude to learn!

As part of your training, we will pay for you to receive your ServSafe Alcohol certification so you can help ensure our establishment is serving alcohol in a responsible manner.
Pay:
All employees earn a base hourly wage, plus tips, which averages out to $25-$35/hr. We pay on a weekly basis!

About Oakwell Beer Spa:
Oakwell Beer Spa is a beer-centric wellness experience that combines a day spa and a taproom into one. Half of our facility is a self-serve taproom with beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages. On the day spa side of our facility, we have four private spa suites (aka Beer Therapy Rooms), with each room containing a beer bath, infrared sauna, rain shower, and relaxation deck. Our guests book our spa suites for 90-minutes and can bring their beverages with them from the taproom to their Beer Therapy Room. We also have a Relaxation Lounge with high-tech Zero Gravity Massage chairs, which guests can use before or after their Beer Therapy Room access.
