Our Values are: Excellence in Service Respect Collaboration and Partnership Diversity Accountability The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Economic Services Administration (ESA), Community Services Division (CSD), is recruiting to fill one (1) Customer Service Specialist 2 position within the Columbia River CSO located in Vancouver.

Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Act as liaison between customers and agency.
Independently answer customers’ questions
Read, understand, and interpret agency administrative policy and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Issue EBT Quest Cards to customers using JP Morgan, Barcode, @EBT Pools and Over the Counter Card Scanner.
Account for blank EBT cards, bus tickets, and other negotiable instruments such as! returned warrants.
Maintain OTC Card Scanner
Provide ! EBT Technical assistance.
Responsible for all aspects of EBT issuing.
Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: An Associate’s degree AND two years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems;
OR
A Bachelor’s degree;
OR
Equivalent experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems.
DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work with internal and external customers in a high volume, diverse and stressful environment and thrive in an environment of change.
Must be able to effectively communicate with management, peers, clients, and the public as required to carry out the assigned duties of the position.
