VP of Infrastructure

More details about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Prime Team Partners is seeking and experienced VP of Infrastructure for our Seattle area client. The ideal candidate would be someone with a strong IT Leadership/Management Background, preferably in a gl! obal environment over Infrastructure resources and teams .
Job Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and direction over infrastructure resources and teams, including support, administration, and engineering over global data centers.
Manage the day to day operations staff responsible to identify, isolate, and resolve problems associated with technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems
Work closely with operations and support personnel to identify areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide better customer service, enhance problem resolution techniques
Understand and manage problems utilizing defined Problem and Change Management Policies and Procedures
Responsible for tracking and reporting on all customer and facility SLA metrics
Provide all or many of the following services: Monitor systems consoles for problems, manage systems availability, production scheduling and cont! rol, reports distribution, service level support, administrati! on and controls, equipment operation, backup recovery, procedural documentation, and execution of the disaster recovery plan
Direct, organize and control the operation of the computer operations staff by coordinating staff to meet budgets and deadlines
Resolve conflicting demands from users for service
Interface with internal and external management in problem-solving and recommending technical alternatives and appropriate actions
Required Skills:
3+ years of IT Management, Leadership or IT Project Management experience
5+ years of combined Infrastructure related experience, i.e. engineering and or management
Excellent knowledge of emergency operating procedures, SLA’s, ITIL
Experience with problem, change, and configuration management
Strong knowledge of security and access procedures Strong knowledge of hardware management and inventory processes
