The Process Engineer is accountable for a broad range of responsibilities including daily support for Operations,Process Monitoring and Optimization, and leadership for process safety and environmental compliance activ! ities. Additionally, the process engineer will take a key role in various special assignments such as turnaround support activities, project commissioning and catalyst selection. The Process Engineer will function as a team member to assure availability and to optimize across the refinery and support the daily operation of one of the operating units including: - Coking - Calcining - Hydroprocessing/Hydrocracking - Reforming - Crude/Distillation - Utilities/Water Chemistry - Fuels Blending Further the Process Engineer will be responsible for primary process support of safety and environmental systems such as: - Relief Systems - Asset Integrity / Reliability - Energy / Hydrocarbon Loss The individual will support turnaround activity through scope developmen t, project selection, process inspection, and shutdown and startup activities. The Engineer will be responsible for developing ideas, technical assurance, design criteria and building business cases for project investments! . Advanced opportunities may also be available for special ass! ignment or development roles in either more specific cross business technical assignments or in other business areas such as higher turnaround support, process safety or commercial roles.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering. A Technical Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent time in a related role will be considered.
A minimum of 5 years plant technical, operations or maintenance experience.
