Job Title: Content Program Manager
Location: Must! reside in the greater Puget Sound area
Job Type: Full Time, option to work from home
Responsibilities:
Assist with beta product content release work streams, track content requests in TFS or Content Idea, weekly synch on open items
Basic project management for content sweeps and periodic backlog cleanup
Lead some content triage meetings, create bugs, assign bugs, execute on other outcomes
Respond to help-desk requests for assistance with content publishing issues, workgroup management, etc.
For products with no CPC, ensure content requests are processed
Run monthly reports on content reach and success for major commercial products. Review comments on top 10 KBs and create summaries for analysis.
Update content associations to Support Topics quarterly or monthly
Quarterly reports on content reach and success for previous quarter’s top 10 issues content and create summaries f! or analysis (across multiple products).
Assist with p! roject work around FY14 content strategy, need to attend meetings
5+ years of writing or editing experience for a consumer audience at Microsoft.
Project management experience, especially in the content space.
Strong understanding of content development process.
Process-driven working style, to help drive existing and new processes for the team’s multiple workflows, projects, and support assets.
Customer service focus.
Attention to detail.
Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and an innovative thinker.
Clear and concise communication style, as well as strong communication/interpersonal skills.
SharePoint experience.
