Location: Auburn Washington

To safely perform filter-related service work, including installations, change-outs, rebuilding filter banks, cleaning systems and any ! other maintenance duties.

Shift: Flexibility required! Typical shift is Sunday-Thursday, 10:00PM-6:30AM with occassional overtime.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work within all established safety guidelines, ensuring that safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Provide world class customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Cleaning fan coil units
  • Cleaning air handling units
  • Tearing out old filter systems
  • Changing filters
  • Membrane change-outs as applicable
  • Reverse osmosis cleanings as applicable
  • Building filter banks
  • Coating plenums with sealant
  • Replenishing carbon cells
  • Cleaning air ducts
  • Cleaning paint booths
  • Dispose of filters in accordance with local codes and applicable detailed customer specific guidelines for handling hazardous and non hazardous waste.
  • Maint! ain vehicle service schedule as needed
  • Follow all saf! ety policies, procedures and requirements
  • Identify sources of defects and apply filtration solutions
  • Protect and grow the value of our business at assigned accounts
  • Develop additional business with current customers as well as new accounts
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Specific Demonstrated Capabilities:
Ability to read job specifications
General mechanical skills
Successfully complete safety initial safety certification process
Maintain current safety certificate through annual training
Perform service work in accordance with established Job Hazard Analysis Form for each job type
Follow customer specific safety guidelines and accident prevention plans
Comply with respirator use and respirator type usage guidelines relative to OSHA required exposure level limitations

Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work with other service personnel
Ability to establish and mai! ntain good client relationships

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license
Maintain current safety certificate (annual renewal required)
Obtain respirator use medical authorization and fit testing certificate

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work under extreme temperatures
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces
  • Ability to manipulate hand tools used for filtration systems
  • Ability to climb a ladder while carrying up to 50 pounds, and not exceed the load limit of the ladder
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to reach frequently and work above shoulder level from a ladder with loads up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work amongst noise and dust
  • Ability to drive between 3-6 hours per day
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 3 hours per day (large scale service jobs may require up to 8 hours per day)
  • Ability to lift! /carry between 26 and 50 lbs for up to 6 hrs per day
  • Ability t! o push between 26 and 50 lbs for up to 3 hrs per day
  • Ability to pull between 26 and 50 lbs for up to 6 hrs per day
  • Ability to lift/pull/push reverse osmosis membranes weighing between 40 and 80 lbs on occasion
  • Ability to wear and fully function while wearing a 1/2 mask or full mask respirator
Work Environment:
Office, industrial or commercial buildings

Travel Requirements:
Minimal overnight stays
Extensive daily travel

Required Experience:Industry Experience:
Filtration systems knowledge
General HVAC knowledge

Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation:
$12-$14 per hour, commensurate with experience.
