Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Clinical Pathways is responsible for planning and directing the development and implementation of clinical pathways across the continuum of care. This position works directly with medical leaders and oncology providers and care teams to create high quality clinical pathways that result in superior patient outcomes and value. This position manages the staff, budget, policies and procedures and administrative functions of the clinical pathways program. The incumbent provides thought leadership and advancement of clinical pathways knowledge and value to ! a variety of audiences beyond the SCCA. This position collabor! ates with IT partners to support data integration and reporting of compliance with and clinical use of clinical pathways. Collaboration also occurs with Program Management, Business Development, Networks and Outreach, Marketing, Project Management, Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) and Finance at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) as well as our partner institutions (FHCRC, UWM and SCH).

This position requires strong leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, mature judgment, independent decision-making, strong analytic skills, effective problem and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Required:
1.Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare field or an equivalent experience.
2.Five years of professional healthcare experience
3.Progressive administrative responsibilities for 5 or more years.
4.Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and implementing initiatives

Preferred: 1.Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
2.Master's degree in business or healthcare field or an equivalent experience.
3.Program development
4.Project management
5.Experience in oncology setting
6.Experience in academic medicine
7.Exposure to clinical research environment
8.Experience in complex organizational structures and/or alliances

Other skills:
1.Ability to perform in an ambiguous dynamic environment
2.Ability to facilitate and influence physician and executive leadership discussions
3.Proficiency with MS Office and clinical information systems
