Telecom Analyst

- Acts as Primary support for Alpha/Numeric pagers used by staff throughout the region. Working from tickets submitted through the ! centralized Help Desk. Knowledge of Remedy preferred.
- Provides secondary support back-up for Vocera wireless communicators used by hospital and clinic staff.
- Basic understanding of Telecommunications and/or pager networks helpful.
- Basic understanding of network switching and wireless technology.
- Good customer service and problem solving skills required. Most interactions are with end-users who are clinic and hospital support staff.
- Maintain inventory of pagers, accessories and batteries. Place orders for replacements with USA Mobility as needed.
- Must be able to use USA Mobility web portal to manage features and groups.
- Create and modify accounts on the Vocera application.
- Have good understanding of Microsoft Office Excel, maintain inventory records on active, inactive and spare units.
- Must be able to work with focus on fast resolution as some issues require a quick support response.
- Mu! st be willing to work as part of a team and be flexible as pri! orities can change quickly.
- Provides Level 2 and 3 support for day-to-day production issues, maintaining documentation in the appropriate tracking systems while adhering to prescribed escalation & change control procedures.
- Trains and educates users on system functionality and capability.
- May occasionally be asked to work overtime if critical service issues are reported to the Help Desk that affect patient care.
